Subject:   More money for the Government

Date:        1st April 2010

Customers will notice a minimal price increase with effect from 1st April 2010.  We were able to hold our prices when the VAT rate returned to 17.5% from 1st January 2010.  During last week's Budget however, the Chancellor announced an increase in the excise duty that we pay to the Government every monthOur prices have been adjusted to reflect the recent increases in VAT and excise duty rates.  The extra money we will be collecting from customers will not be lining our pockets but will be handed straight over to the Government each month!
